ADVANTAGES
- PREVENT DEFECTIVE MESSAGE TRANSMISSION
Before sending a message, the TPAT-121 check the message
for error. The message should comply to standard specified
in ICAO Annex 10 Volume II document. Upon detection of an
error, the TPAT-121 rejects to transmit the message and
shows the error to the operator. In addition, the TPAT-121
also relieve the operator from typing protocol part of the
message such as SOM, EOM, etc. The elimination of typing
error will reduce overall network traffic.
- SUPPORT ITA-2 AND IA-5 CHARACTER CODE
ICAO specifies two types of AFTN messages with different
format character code. The TPAT-121 support both types of
messages (ITA-2 and IA-5).
- LARGE MESSAGE STORAGE
The number of messages that can be stored by TPAT-121 is
only limited by the available disk space.

The TPAT-121 can support wide range of data transmission
speed from 50 bps to 115200 bps. The line interface can
be standard RS-232 or current loop equipped with an build-in
line protectors.

The TPAT-121 uses widely known Microsoft Windows 98 user
interface. This interface will shorten system operator learning
curve. System configuration and message preparation can
be done easily. Many keyboard shortcuts is also provided
for advance users to speed up message creation or editing.
