AMX - Automatic Message eXchange™

The AMX Warp™ is an AFTN Switch for Message Handling System in Aeronautical Fixed Telecommunication Network (AFTN). The AMX will be the main control system for an Automatic Message Switching Center. The Message Handling System of AMX is fully compliant with the International Civil Aviation Organization Standard for AFTN, i.e. ICAO Annex 10 Volume II including latest amendment 73.

Based on open system architecture, the AMX is ATN ready. The AMX supports various international standard protocols, such as: IP, ATM, X.25, and Frame Relay. In CNS/ATM transition phase, the AMX can be configured to be an AFTN/ATN Gateway. When the ATN era is come, the AMX can be upgraded to be an ATN Service Provider such as ATS MHS.

The AMX will secure the airport authorities investment to fulfill their current requirements for the AFTN Switch.
